Interpretation of Peaks of Desire ¨C ¡°Red Man¡± Series

A group of people intertwined and climbing, in a silent space of a crowded, emotive jump; their muscles borne with lust and yearning. In a boundless universe, they are desperately searching for hope, unaware of the danger that surrounds them. They remind ignorant of their situation as they struggle upward.

The ¡°Red Man¡± series works through a visual sensation of contrast and question ¡ª¡ª Where do they come from? Where will they go?

Though these works present an aurora of calmness and serenity, the viewers also feel an inflated sense of inner restlessness. The men and women are drawn with diverse posture to reflect the different positions and circumstances in which people struggle upward to find direction. The thick red color used to create the men and women in the paintings cause a sensory stimulation in which the red engenders an expression of deep desire while encircling the mystery behind the population.

The artist created the series in order to delineate the process and spectra of pain and happiness. Finding the inspiration in his personal life, he expresses his inner emotions and expels them through artistic expression onto his creations. The paintings motivate viewers to marginalize sectors of society and push him or her to climb upwards and excel in life.
